Fluorescent Dissolved Oxygen Meter 'LDO2'
Industrial DO meter adopting fluorescence (optical) method for continuous measurement, easy maintenance, and long-term stable measurement.
The fluorescent dissolved oxygen meter operates on a different measurement principle compared to traditional membrane-type electrodes. Inside the detector, blue and red light-emitting diodes (LEDs) are arranged to alternate lighting for measurement. The light emitted from the blue LED is directed onto a sensor cap coated with fluorescent material on the outside of a transparent resin plate at the tip of the detector, which quickly enters an excited state and emits red fluorescence before returning to the ground state. The higher the oxygen concentration in the sample water, the less red fluorescence is emitted, and the time taken to return to the ground state is shorter. The 'LDO2' utilizes this phenomenon to determine the dissolved oxygen concentration in the sample water and performs optical zero adjustment with the red LED to enhance measurement stability. **Features** - The detector does not have an anode or cathode, eliminating the need for electrolyte or membrane replacement. - Minimal maintenance required (sensor cap replacement every two years). - Long-term stable measurements are possible due to optical zero adjustment. - There are almost no interfering substances, and flow rate has no effect. - The SC4500 converter can connect two detectors, allowing for simultaneous 2-channel measurements. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
